Paper is based on wood, a natural and renewable material, and is one of the most recycled products in the world. However, traditional paper processing contributes to deforestation, and greenhouse gas emissions, and requires tons of freshwater. To mitigate these effects, and to lower the carbon footprint, we only work with tree-free paper. This alternative either uses materials such as bamboo, jute, and hemp, or post-consumer materials, which don't require cutting down fresh trees.
